A modern apartment inspired by the Art Deco style. Geometric shapes, curves and roundness in the furniture and light fittings evoke the spirit of the 1930s. A modern kitchen with copper blends and a display of antique sharpeners balances a sharply cut wall with velour upholstery . The whole space is unified by banana leaf wallpaper, the quintessentially American chic design from 1942, based on the famous Martinique Banana Leaf Paper by Don Lopera for the Beverly Hills Hotel. 

Discipline, order and neatness of the interior architecture go hand in hand with noble materials: walnut flooring, mahogany tables, copper inserts and stone tops. The table countertops and shelves are full of the exhibits from the past: brass propellers – a symbol of progress, ashtrays and writing instruments. The small area of the apartment is not an obstacle to arranging the functions. The play with texture and form gives the interior a practical and unique character.

In the bathroom navy blue with copper and stone, marble slabs with decor dress the walls. They create depth in a miniature space. A washing machine, shelves, cupboards – all concealed, here linear divisions and precious materials are in the foreground and guarantee success.
